Indian passports are now normally issued with a validity of ten years. Their renewal thereafter involves the issue of a new passport. However, passports were previously issued with a validity of five years. This section applies only if renewal of passport is sought after five years of original issue. Application forms for the passport services can be submitted to the High Commission on working days between 9.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m.
