1. The High Commission of India invites bids for new air conditioning and ventilation system on Ground Floor and Lower Ground Floor of India House building located at Aldwych, London WC2B 4NA.

2. Interested firms are requested to submit their bids for the specifications attached. The firm should have public liability insurance cover for a minimum value of £5 million.

3. They may forward their bids not later than September 10, 2008 in a sealed envelope by recorded delivery addressed to the First Secretary (P&M), High Commission of India, India House, Aldwych, London WC2B 4NA.

4. The sealed envelope should indicate on the top left side of the cover in red “new air conditioning and ventilation system in Ground Floor and Lower Ground Floor”, quoting reference number given above.

5. Quotation should also specify time scale required for completion of the job on receipt of firm order from us, and guarantee for materials and workmanship.

6. Selected firm/contractor will be responsible for obtaining permission from the local council, if required.

7. Terms of payment and your guarantee for the job are subject to negotiations, if the quotes are accepted.
